Patients have a growing right to be involved in their treatment decisions. It is therefore essential to reach this target group. But what actually makes them tick? To improve treatment adherence and thus also the chances of a successful outcome, it is important, first of all, to determine what patients actually expect. Secondly, the benefits of treatment must be communicated clearly and comprehensibly. In addition, ease of handling of technical devices such as hearing aids and glucose meters also plays an important role.
